4) The Broadcast - (link)
The Broadcast is a CBC podcast based in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The ocean is a part of daily working life in Newfoundland and Labrador. Whether it’s fishing, shipping, research or culture, there are thousands of people whose jobs have some connection to the sea. The Broadcast explores the stories of people in Newfoundland and Labrador who work in jobs or live in communities that depend on the sea.
While some stories may be focused on Newfoundland itself, the ocean has no boundaries, and therefore the conversations are relevant and important to all of us, no matter where we live.
Though we especially recommend this to our fellow Canadian ocean lovers :)
5) World Ocean Radio
A weekly series of five-minute audio essays on a wide range of ocean issues from science and education to advocacy and exemplary projects, brought to you by long-time host Peter Neill.
Perfect for ocean-on-the-go! These short podcasts are great for a little taste of ocean issues when you don't have the time for a lengthly listen.
