August 11th, 2017 Churn Beach, Nova Scotia - 892 pounds

Our first ever beach cleanup was held August 11th, 2017 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

Partnering with Waste Check, SEA Change and fifteen volunteers removed a staggering 892 pounds of trash from Churn Beach.

It was hot, it was sunny, it was hard work, and it was amazing. We're so thankful to have had the help of so many ocean lovers for the day and we look forward to hosting more cleanups in Yarmouth in the future!

Check out the video above for a look at the cleanup!
